This fixes a weakness and a security issue, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges and by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's system. For more information: SA43221 1) The weakness is caused due to an error in the "feh_http_load_image()" function (src/imlib.c) when using the "--wget-timestamp" command line option. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary shell commands into an URL passed as command line argument, which will be executed, if a user is tricked into opening a specially crafted URL using the "--wget-timestamp" command line option. SOLUTION: Update to "media-gfx/feh-1.12" or later. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: 1) Disclosed in a GIT commit.
