The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the HummingBird Client Connector (ftserver.exe) within the Indexing Server. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to an unspecified TCP port. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
