This fixes a weakness, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges. The weakness is caused due an error within the "set_event()" function in the opcontrol script, which does not properly sanitize the event names before using then in an eval command and can be exploited to execute arbitrary shell commands. Successful exploitation requires that the opcontrol script is added to /etc/sudoers. SOLUTION: Apply updated packages via the apt-get package manager.
