The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain HTML content and can be exploited to inject malicious content via a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack and execute an arbitrary program. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires intercepting the communication between the client and certain web servers. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 10.5. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy.
