Action or method names passed via the "" tag using bash syntax are not properly sanitised by XWork before being used to generate error pages when the actions or methods are not defined. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Successful exploitation requires that Dynamic Method Invocation is enabled (enabled by default). The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.0.0 through 2.2.1.1. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.2.3.
