The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Blue Coat Authentication and Authorization Agent (BCAAA) when processing certain packets. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to TCP port 16102. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in all versions of BCAA associated with ProxySG releases prior to April 21, 2011 or with a build number prior to 60258. SOLUTION: Currently only a fix for BCAA associated with ProxySG 5.5 is available in version 5.5.5.1. Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
