Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.1.0.0 (NewvCommon.ocx 1.0.0.18). Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Set the kill-bit for the affected ActiveX control.
