The vulnerability is caused due to the "ftpls" command not properly sanitising the filenames when generating directory listings in HTML format, which can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.6.7. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Do not generate HTML directory listings of untrusted servers.
