The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the authentication mechanism in the administrative interface, which can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism by setting the "auser" and "apass" cookies to an arbitrary value e.g. in admin/menu.php. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to the admin folder (e.g. via .htaccess).
