The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors in the "acos_get_serialnr()", "acos5_get_serialnr()", and "starcos_get_serialnr()" functions when reading out the serial number of smart cards. This can be exploited to cause buffer overflows via a specially crafted smart card. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.11.13.
