The vulnerability is caused due insufficient input sanitation within the embedded Trident control (Internet Explorer rendering engine) of non-translated terms and can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in the Local Machine security zone. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires tricking a user into translating malicious content. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 8.0.7.
