The security issue is caused due to user credentials being stored in plain text in an AOPSCLOG data set and can be exploited to disclose the stored credentials. Successful exploitation requires that "VALIDATE_SOAP_USERS" and "LOG_REQUESTS" are set to "YES". The vulnerability is reported in version 4.2.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
