DESCRIPTION:
QSecure has discovered a vulnerability in the eForum component for
Elxis CMS, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a
vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the
components/com_eforum/eforum.php script not properly verifying
uploaded file types. This can be exploited to upload a PHTML file and
execute arbitrary PHP code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1 released prior to 7th
of April 2011. Prior versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.1 released after 7th of April 2011.
