DESCRIPTION:
John Leitch has discovered two vulnerabilities in MinaliC, which can
be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information
and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) Input is not properly verified before being used to display files,
which can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via
directory traversal attacks.

2) An off-by-one error when receiving data can be exploited to crash
the process via a packet containing 2048 bytes.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only (e.g. via network access
control lists).
