DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain system
information.

The weakness is caused due to the "xfs_ioc_fsgetxattr()" function in
fs/xfs/linux-2.6/xfs_ioctl.c not properly initializing all members of
a certain structure before copying it to userspace, which can be
exploited to disclose kernel stack memory by sending
XFS_IOC_FSGETXATTR IOCTLs.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Dan Rosenberg
