DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerabilities are caused due to errors in the ldap_cachemgr
daemon and can be exploited to crash the daemon, causing LDAP name
service requests to hang and preventing users from logging in to LDAP
client systems.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Sun Solaris 9 and Sun Solaris 10
for both the SPARC and x86 platforms.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches.

Apply patch 112960-69 or later.

Solaris 10:
Apply patch 127111-07 or later.


-- x86 Platform --
   
Solaris 9:
Apply patch 114242-54 or later.

Solaris 10:
