The vulnerability is caused due to an out of bounds array access in arch/mips/kernel/scall64-o32.S. This can be exploited to e.g. crash a vulnerable system by making a syscall with a syscall number of less than 4000. Successful exploitation requires a 64bit MIPS architecture. SOLUTION: Fixed in the GIT repository.
