CRITICAL:

IMPACT:

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
Drupal E-Publish Module 5.x
http://secunia.com/product/18469/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the E-Publish module for
Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery attacks.

1) The module allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without performing any validity checks to verify the
request. This can be exploited to delete topics, sections, editions,
volumes, or publications by e.g. tricking a user into visiting a
malicious site.

2) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 5.x prior to 5.x-1.1.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.x-1.1.
