DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in uTorrent, which can
be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when displaying
the client used by connected peers. This can be exploited to crash an
affected program by connecting to the TCP port on which uTorrent is
listening and sending a specially crafted packet containing an overly
long client string.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.7.5 on Windows. Prior
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.7.6.
