DESCRIPTION:
Gentoo has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in pdfkit and imagekits,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of vulnerable Xpdf
code, which may allow the execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
The vendor recommends removing the following packages:
gnustep-libs/pdfkit
gnustep-libs/imagekits

Alternatively, users should upgrade to PopplerKit instead of PDFKit
and Vindaloo instead of ViewPDF.
