This can be exploited to e.g. create a malicious batch file in the Windows autostart folder by tricking a user into visiting a malicious website. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.14.0 of the nvUtility.Utility ActiveX control as included in Network Video Recorder SP2 version 2.0.30. SOLUTION: Set the kill-bit for the affected ActiveX control.
