DESCRIPTION:
Radu State has reported a vulnerability in the Linksys SPA941 VoIP
Phone, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the processing of SIP
messages. This can be exploited to reboot the phone by sending
specially crafted SIP messages containing "\337" characters.

The vulnerability is reported in software version 5.1.5. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Use only in a trusted network environment.
