Input passed to the "post_id" parameter in dotclear/ecrire/trackback.php and to the "tool_url" parameter in tools/thememng/index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.2.6. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.2.6. http://www.dotclear.net/download.html PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: nassim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- About: This Advisory was delivered by Secunia as a free service to help everybody keeping their systems up to date against the latest vulnerabilities.
