The vulnerabilities are caused due to boundary errors when processing certain commands (e.g. PRIVMSG). These can be exploited to e.g. crash the client or cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted IRC command sent to the client. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. SOLUTION: Use another product.
