DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Putmail, which can be exploited
by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information.

The security issue is caused due Putmail not correctly checking for
errors when starting a TLS session. This can lead to authentication
in plain text, resulting in the possibility of passwords being
eavesdropped.

The security issue is reported in versions prior to 1.4.

Update to version 1.4.
