This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled. 2) Input passed to the "m" parameter in index.php isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user via a SQL error message. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 3) Input passed to the "phpExt" parameter in pbd_engine.php isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources. Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled. This can further be exploited to include arbitrary PHP script code injected into log files (e.g. input passed when registering). The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.8.0 and have also been reported in version 2.9.1 (BETA). Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.
