CRITICAL:

SOFTWARE:
uim 0.x
http://secunia.com/product/4680/

DESCRIPTION:
Takumi Asaki has reported a vulnerability in uim, which potentially
can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated
privileges.

The problem is that the contents of environment variables always are
trusted. This can be exploited to gain escalated privileges when
libuim is linked against an application running setuid/setgid.

Successful exploitation requires "immodule for Qt" enabled Qt.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.4.5.1.
